Inpixon Gains Channel Partner Momentum with Indoor Positioning Analytics and Security Offering
IT Solutions Firm GDT, Phirelight Security Solutions and Integrated Security Technologies Integrating with Inpixon to Protect Federal Agencies and Organizations from BYOD and IoT Risks
PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Inpixon (NASDAQ: INPX), a leading indoor positioning and data analytics company, today announced increasing channel momentum for Inpixon’s leading Indoor Positioning Analytics (IPA) solution. The company is now working with IT solutions firm GDT, Phirelight Security Solutions and Integrated Security Technologies (IST) to deliver the benefits of sensor technology, real-time positioning, and data analytics to customers across industries.
Inpixon IPA is the first positioning system designed to deliver full scope real-time location and precise positioning of all mobile devices – including cellular, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth–from a single security dashboard and can integrate with other physical and logical security systems. As a result, this has enabled partners to meet customer demand and develop solutions suites for several markets including financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, energy, retail and government agencies.
“Federal and government agencies, along with other industries handling mission-critical information, are racing to stay ahead of the risks associated with the rapid adoption of integrated Internet of Things (IoT) and smart devices in the workplace,” said Nadir Ali CEO of Inpixon. “MarketWatch reports IoT Security Market is expected to grow from $6.62 billion to $29.02 billion, at a CAGR of 34.4% from 2017 to 2022. Through our partnership with innovative technology integrators like GDT, Phirelight, and IST we are continuing our strong momentum in the security market in delivering the benefits of advanced security and visibility to combat risks associated with Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) and IoT.”
The Inpixon IPA solution improves visibility into the network and total enterprise, multiplying a security team’s effect by positioning trusted devices and uncovering potential threats. Its sensors passively and anonymously monitor of both known and unknown devices, sending alerts in real-time when unauthorized devices enter a protected zone. Inpixon’s data science analytics platform enables administration, real-time monitoring, data collection, auditing and analytics reporting including connectors to integrate other surveillance, device management, and identity management systems.
“We are continuously looking for new technologies to help our customers with the best possible IT solutions. Growing dependency on IoT devices in our business and personal lives is one such threat situation that enterprises are not prepared to tackle. Inpixon IPA identifies wireless devices and integrates a security platform to create customer-centric offerings for various markets,” said JW Roberts CEO of GDT.
“Security and privacy of customer data, detecting security policies breaches and protection of the corporate network is paramount for our federal and commercial customers including utilities, banks, hospitals and educational institutions. Traditional attack patterns are being exploited leveraging modern IoT technologies that are not covered by traditional security software. Inpixon IPA will help us to detect the rogue devices to prevent network attacks in our customer premises, and strengthen our commitment to creating a secured workplace,” said Christine Lanning President of IST.
"Having the most vivid, accurate, and real-time positioning technology of BYOD or enterprise devices from a security perspective is a high-value proposition for our client base. We’re delighted to include Inpixon within our growing security portfolio and integrate Inpixon’s Indoor Positioning Analytics (IPA) into our comprehensive suite of IT Security and Cyber Protection solutions and services,” said Wayne Teeple CEO of Phirelight Security Solutions.
